This is Hosanna. She has been absent from school for a month now. Today our teachers went to visit her. Hosanna has been suffering so the mother took her to a clinic where they diagnosed that she is malnourished and they gave her medication so that she should have the recommended weight again. Still, she continued suffering from diarrhea, her body parts get swollen and so on and the mother has been going back to the clinic but they don’t have other medicine and they urged the mother to provide her child with healthy foods such as different vegetables and fruits. Unfortunately the mother cannot afford to provide that for her daughter. Tomorrow we want to take Hosanna to a bigger hospital in hope that they will be able to provide her with another type of medicine so that she should recover completely again.
